Janet's first grandchild, Royal Marine Commando Adam Robert Brown was born in Yateley, Hampshire on the 25 February 1985. On the 1 August 2010 he was tragically killed whilst serving in Afghanistan. He was just 25 years old. One of Adam's dreams was to own a beach hut at Mudeford in Dorset where he spent many a childhood holiday with his family. We started a fund-raising campaign to purchase a beach hut and so fulfil his dream. Adam's hoofing hut is an extraordinary memorial to an extraordinary man and is being used by Marines and families in need of a quiet place to relax and reflect.
